Alan Kraus is the Director for Information Technology Investments at the Ben Franklin Technology Partners, managing a portfolio of more than 40 early-stage IT company investments. Since joining Ben Franklin in 1998, he has closed more than 130 investments. Recent successful company exits include Boomi (Dell), Coates Analytics (PNC and then Bank of NY), AnySource (DiVX), PayQuik (Citibank), LiftDNA(OpenX), Ethidium (Portico, later bought by McKesson), Moda (Lonza). Alan has presided over companies that raised more than $150 million in follow-on funding.
Alan earned his MBA at Temple University and his BBA from the University of Michigan.
