Harry has more than 15 years of experience as an entrepreneur, inventor, and advisor for new technologies. He advises HJ Labs on business development.

Harry started his career at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for two years as a patent examiner where he issued 65 patents. Today he is a Senior Patent Agent at Volpe and Koenig, P.C., assisting with valuing patents for acquisitions, preparing presentations for licensing programs, and directing strategic patent prosecution.

Harry graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. (cum laude) and M.S. (magna cum laude) in Electrical and Systems Engineering in 2002 and 2003.

Jaron is a seasoned entrepreneur, executive, and inventor with more than 16 years of collaborative management experience.

Today, alongside HJL, Jaron is Director of Communications for Information, Systems and Computing at the University of Pennsylvania. He is responsible for developing and implementing brand management and communications strategies in support of business development.

Previously, Jaron led the Marketing & Communications Department for Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern PA. Ben Franklin invests in early-stage and established technology companies across Information Technology, Biotechnology, and Physical Sciences.

He also co-founded The LobeMan Group, LLC, in 2000. LobeMan was a technology development company pioneering over-the-ear headsets, and other audio technologies. LobeMan sold 100,000+ product units to Target, Discovery Channel Stores, QVC Television Shopping Network, and other retailers.

In 2017, Jaron was named to the Philadelphia Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 list, and was an EY Entrepreneur of Year Finalist.

Jaron graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in 2002, and received an MBA from Temple University’s Fox School of Business in 2013, honor society.
